Our made-to-measure service in Berlin combines personal con­sulta­tion with FRILISA’s design sens­ib­il­ity. Whether a dress, a two-piece outfit or a coat, we begin with your wishes, your pro­por­tions, and when and how you would like to wear your new garment.

From a first idea to your own silhouette

We discuss the cut, material and details. Should the dress flow freely or hold a defined shape? Do you need room to move on stage? Are you looking for an elegant dress for special evenings, or a coat you will look forward to wearing every autumn?

You do not need to arrive with a finished sketch. In­spir­a­tion is welcome; “I like clean lines, but nothing dull” is a perfectly good starting point, too.

A fabric has to do more than look beautiful

Material, cut and con­struc­tion work together. Alongside colour and texture, we consider drape, handle and comfort. Together, we choose a direction that suits the design and its intended use.

Through the fittings, we refine the shape and details step by step. An idea becomes a personal garment, with room for your posture, your movements and your taste.

How much time and budget should you allow?

That depends on the design, material and crafts­man­ship involved. At your con­sulta­tion, we discuss the scope, timing and cost. If you need the garment for a particular occasion, please mention the date when you enquire.

A special occasion is entirely optional, by the way. Sometimes, wanting a garment that truly fits is occasion enough.
