Shortening a pair of trousers, adjusting a sleeve or refining a waist can make a remarkable difference. At a personal fitting, we discuss what you have in mind and what the cut and fabric will allow.

The aim is a flattering fit that lets you move. After all, life rarely happens entirely in front of a mirror.

What can we alter?

Depending on the con­struc­tion, we can adjust lengths and widths and reshape the silhouette. Whether a garment can be let out depends, among other things, on the available seam allowance. We assess the original garment and give you an honest view of which ad­just­ments make sense.

How much do al­ter­a­tions cost?

The work involved depends on the fabric, cut, lining and con­struc­tion. A fitting therefore gives us a more reliable basis for an estimate than a photograph alone. We discuss the proposed work and the cost with you.

For trouser or skirt hems, please bring the shoes you intend to wear with the garment. This helps us establish the ap­pro­pri­ate hem length during your fitting.
